AIM opened its 15th campus in Phoenix, AZ in 2023. This project had the larger task of making the 80,000 campus a cohesive environment that reflects the institution’s identity while enhancing functionality and aesthetic appeal. The design process involved careful selection of materials, color schemes, and installations that complement architectural elements and support the campus’s educational mission.
My role encompassed conceptual development, collaboration with the larger design team, and overseeing the integration of art within and outside of the hangar spaces. This includes curating student images and artwork, planning layout, and ensuring the design aligns with timeline requirements to balance creativity with practicality to foster an engaging atmosphere conducive to learning.
